Jaydan and Jordan are identical twins, which of course means that they have the exact same genes.Physically, they look extremely similar, although Jaydan is a little bit taller and is left handed. They reached developmental milestones at the same age, both walking at 11 months, talking at 12 months, and beginning puberty at 13 years. They also share many of the same strengths and preferences, both excelling at hockey, billiards, mathematics, and creative writing, while not caring for history or country music.

However, when Jaydan and Jordan turned 18, Jordan was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, and is receiving the appropriate treatment. Now Jaydan is extremely worried that he, too, will develop schizophrenia. He is so worried that he finds himself questioning every perception and thought that he has for evidence of the disorder.
